Bicycles
If you’re feeling energetic or the weather is particularly nice, why not cycle around the city? There are 165 kms of bike lanes making two-wheels an enjoyable and safe way to explore Paris. The best place to rent a bike is at the RATP (Paris transport authority) sponsored Maison Roue Libre at 1 passage Mondetour at the Forum des Halles from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. Les Halles is the nearest Metro station but note that bikes aren’t allowed on the underground trains and only on some RER lines at weekends and during public holidays.
